AM I RIGHT?

I can make the right choices in life since I am aware and educated; not everyone can be trusted to make the right choice.
Life is all about making choices. The right choices in life can be attributed to a variety of reasons, though education forms an integral part of it. Education gives you the strength and courage to face the world and differentiate between right and wrong. But its not just education that teaches you. We have our instincts to rely on..........
As individuals not all are alike. But there are certain norms that are to be followed by everyone who lives and wants to continue living in this society.
But education is not the answer to all our queries. For instance no one can answer as to why does female infanticide still exist in spite of all the awareness programs. It could be easy to blame it on lack of education, but the truth is that it does exist among the educated and elite lot who want a son to continue their family name. Such are the restrictions in our Indian society.
Situations could arise, where in, it becomes necessary to go against the written norms of the society to follow your heart and do what you think is right. Here, it is the individual’s perspective that helps him/ her and not just the education. So we could say that though education helps in moulding an individual’s personality and their thoughts and ideas, but it is not just education, but also their surroundings, their own thoughts and ideas. And this is where awareness about social issues and other concerns could play an important role.
When a child is born, the first thought that crosses a parent’s mind is about their child’s future and career and life.......and the first step to it is education. In school we learn about lots of things, manners, habits, morals and lots more. A child inculcates what he sees around him. And that is what shapes his personality. A criminal is not born as a criminal, but it’s his circumstances and situations that make him what he is. Giving him a second chance by educating him and giving him a role to play in society could be a possible way to reduce crime rates in our country. So education is really important.

But could we say that education is what has made us aware of realities in life? Not really. An uneducated farmer would know more about the pros and cons of what has to be used on his field and what not to use than an urbanized well educated individual.
In India, education and awareness are not interlinked. An individual who is well educated may not even be aware of what is right or what is wrong. We could call a person ‘aware’, only when he knows the general happenings of the world and is able to make the right choices without hurting other individuals or creating havoc in the society. Hence, it is important for us to distinguish between people who are well educated and those who are well aware of the world and his surroundings.
Making the right choice determines a person’s future and that is when you can say I have fought fate. When a person is aware of the decision he has to take under certain circumstances and makes a choice he is setting himself into a particular path which determines where his life is going to go henceforth. So making the right choice in life is not determined by how educated you are but by your awareness....

Destiny's child....

As humans we have a well developed brain...supposed to be supreme creatures, who can create things and destroy them. We make our own lives. But can we fight fate? Do we, as humans, even believe in fate? There are many who think that they create their own lives, but i would say that everything happens for a reason. And more often than not, i like to believe that whatever happens,happens for good. May be i should blame optimism for this thought, but i think that it is this thought that can help us let go of our past, learn from our mistakes and move on in life, and step into our future.
And every situation takes us a step forward towards our ultimate goal in life. I honestly believe that every individual has a purpose to serve, a reason for them to be born, to make a difference in some way. And no matter what, we reach it. Some are lucky to find their fate early, to realize what they are meant for, and some find it at a later stage in life, but find they do,because no matter what,however modern we are, our fate is sealed. And we will definitely reach it.
